PyrateCon 2008 Guide. This issue was created as a guide to PyrateCon, of which The Pyrates Way was the main sponsor. Inside is a listing of all the vendors, entertainers, schedules of events, things to do in New Orleans, and a few autograph pages.
The issue also contains an interesting look at Jean LaFitte and carried recaps of the several pre-PyrateCon gatherings.
The Pyrates Way Rum of choice this issue is New Orleans Rum. The Wenches of the Quarter Included Tanya, Kimberly (niece of Beaufort Pirate Sinbad), Ada, Edain, and Andrea (from Blackbeard's Crew in Hampton). The beautiful Ada won the issue. The cover model is none other than drop-dead gorgeous Piranha Swann Kidd, our West Coast Editor at the time. The Free Booty in this issue was a pirate sticker or bookmark.
