Spooky Issue. In this issue, The Pyrates Way brought out a lot of pyrate ghosts and haunted images for Hallowe'en.
    The issue contains a scary story of Blackbeard that's been largly untold. . .that of his ghost! We showed off with an article about how the magazine is put together and those involved. Other articles included Discipline at Sea, Pirate Ghosts of New Orleans, Pyrates of the 1960s, and The Phantom who was the only comic super hero to fight pirates exclusively. We included part 2 of our ongoing series about The Pirates of the Caribbean III.
    The Pyrates Way Rum of choice this issue is Pirates Choice Rum. The Wenches of the Quarter included Carly, Nina, Mimi, and Candy. Candy won the issue. The cover model is Tiffany James, previously seen as one of Spring 07's Wenches of the Quarter. The Free Booty in this issue was a solid, metal Phantom ring which had to be mailed separately. The ring is of those actually given out in theatres when The Phantom premiered in 1996. To date, it's been the most popular booty we've ever given to our subscribers.
